Machine Translation (or MT) continues to evolve, but its quality is still not capable of reaching the quality of human translations. The result is often meaningless, or appears to have a meaning but is translated incorrectly. This is true not only of Google Translate, used by many people, but also of better, higher-quality industry solutions. Nevertheless, there are translation jobs for which machine translation should be used, primarily for cost-savings.

• Linguistically simple (not translation work, very simple user instructions)
• The objective is knowledge of the essential content of a particular text (i.e., not for publication)
• The speed of the translation is important
• The rough translation prepared by the computer is reviewed, checked, and improved by professionals (translators, proofreaders)
